People used to have someone. A rabbi, a priest, an imam, a wise woman, an aunt or uncle whose kitchen table settled things. Someone to go to for better decisions, or to feel less burdened simply because there was a person who could be safely confided in.

I play that role now. Health education, values, and spirituality under one umbrella. A life assistant, if you like.

I work with people who want to get better. Who need someone to talk to, to dismantle what they feel or what they are going through. Who are ready to take responsibility for their actions, get disciplined, get healthier. Sometimes it is a life stage. Getting older and wanting to be stronger for it. Preparing for a pregnancy and wanting the best possible ground for parent and child. We practice mindfulness in action, and sometimes we force our way through repetitiveness that no longer serves.

I do not cure anything. I help people know better so they can do better. We start with food, the foundation of wellbeing, and then we go where the load actually lives. Relationships of every sort, including the one with yourself. Emotions that will not regulate. An environment that leaves you vulnerable to outcomes you do not want. The work puts you back in charge of your inner world, and the outer one begins to feel exciting and beautiful again. That is where the magic of life happens, awake and aware, where serendipities and synchronicities are welcomed.

What this has looked like

A client came to me in her late twenties, years after a boating accident. She was in a wheelchair, unable to work, needing new teeth. Today she walks with confidence, runs her own business, and is in charge, mind over matter. Clients newly diagnosed with cancer, empowered by our conversations, having someone to hold a container for their greatest fear while they take charge of their mind, their spirit, and the anti-inflammatory lifestyle and mindstyle that aids them in the journey of their lifetime. Clients who were told children would never happen, raising their children. Clients who went through divorce and put a life back together. Clients who saved their marriages by finding what was underneath the trouble and starting on the one thing they could take full responsibility for, themselves.

Some people work with me for a season. Some for years, and I become part of their lives. A smart, steady relationship, never a dependent one, that keeps them going, achieving, and catching things before they escalate.

What it costs

Weekly support starts at $600 a month.

The Cancer Education Session is $400 for two hours. When time is of the essence, we organize your thoughts, your kitchen, and your next steps, and brace properly for what is coming.

The home visit and wellness kitchen setup is arranged by inquiry, since it can involve travel. I come to your home and set it up for wellbeing.

The first conversation is free. Write to me below, tell me where you are, and I will reply personally. Or write directly: hello@joannapuciata.com
